Properly Using The Laser Maze Who Will Top The Score Leaderboard In YOUR Family?

Remember: Anything blocking the mirrors & lasers (built into the walls)...including pillows...will affect game play!

Turning On The Laser Maze

Be sure all built-in lasers and mirrors are completely unobstructed. Take the pillows off the bed and secure them in the closet; Close the closet doors and the bedroom door. Turn on the ceiling fan, turn off all lights, close the shutters. Then, simply turn the hazer timer (located near the bedroom door)  and wait about 6 minutes for enough mist to circulate arond the room (you can leave the hazer on longer to keep playing).

When ready for play, it's time to select your game settings from the screen on the wall right near the room's entry door. If the screen isn't on yet, you'll need to boot the computer by turning on the LASER toggle light switch on that same wall. Then wait 2-3 minutes for it to boot and another minute or so for it to auto-launch the software from the windows desktop.

You can choose between 1 or 2 player laser mazes or the 1 or 2 player "beam bash" game. Once you've made your selections, swipe your hand in front of the
BLUE "go" panel on the wall near the light switches (no need to touch it-- just air swipe in front of it...but very CLOSE to it). The music and wall timer will start-- GAME ON!

Laser Maze Mode

If you're in 1 player mode, you'll want to touch as few lasers as you can. Each one tha you touch will sound an alarm and add a 24 point penalty to the scoring clock. Your first goal is to reach each YELLOW light objective on the wall. The easier levels will only have ONE yellow objective but the more advanced levels will have 2. Once all yellow objectives have been reached, a red "finish" light will appear on a wall--and that's what you need to swipe to end the game, stop the clock, and see your final score!
The only difference in 2 player mode is that TWO yellows and TWO reds will light up at the same time and you'll need one player on EACH simulataneously in order to clear it!

*Please do not tamper with the hazer unless authorized to do so by our staff (i.e. to refill it).

*If the hazer begins making a chugging noise, please immediately discontinue use and notify us right away.

*If smoke alarm sounds from mist/haze, open a window for a few minutes and it should resolve.

*Avoid turning the LASER toggle light switch off/on more than once every hour -- It controls a windows computer that must go throguh a booting process. If you need to re-set a game, walk into the room and swipe all yellow and red targets to complete the current game first. You shouldn't need to re-boot the system.

Playing Laser "Beam Bash" Game

In this alternate game, lasers come on for 30-45 seconds and you're scored by how many of them you can "smash." When you run out of lasers, swipe your hand over the yellow lit target in the back corner of the room to "reload." NOTE: Swiping a RED target first will give you BONUS POINTS!
In a 2 player beam bash game, BOTH yellow and/or red targets must be swiped at the same time.

Playing Scores & The Closet Leaderboard
If you score well enough, the screen in the closet will invite you to add your name to the leaderboard. Typically, we re-set the board for each group so you can see who the top scorers are during YOUR stay! Please note that top scores are broken down by level/game and the screen up top will only display top scores for the game/level most recently played.
